We were honored to receive a Spotlight Award at a gala event in Toronto tonight. The Spotlight Awards are an annual event honoring Canadian companies for excellence in entrepreneurship. It awards in two categories: Unicorns valued at over $1B and Centurions valued between $100M and $1B. Our inclusion as a Centurion was triggered by the recent large investment by our new shareholder Bridge Growth Partners.

This new investment has added significant cash to our balance sheet and bolstered our board with many new seasoned and well-connected technology vets. In fact, we’re putting our new market muscle to work with new investments across the company to more aggressively capitalize on the disruption we’ve created in the real-time data movement market. Watch this space, we have some BIG news coming in about a month. I could tell you more, but I’d have to kill you 🙂

Thanks to Achievers founder Razor Suleman for creating these awards and recognizing Solace at this event. Congratulations as well to the Unicorns: AppDirect, Wind Mobile, HootSuite, and Kik, as well as the other Centurions: BitStrips, CarProof, Distech Controls, Intelex, Quickplay Media, eSignLive, XE and AJB Software Design for their recognition at the event.
