Ottawa, Ontario, April 24, 2014 – Solace Systems announced today a series of public training courses to be held in London, New York City and Toronto throughout 2014. The courses will meet the needs of customers who want to give a few administrators or developers hands-on training on Solace equipment, and complement the onsite training most customers use to quickly familiarize their IT staff with the deployment and operation of Solace appliances.
The tour will feature two of Solace’s most popular courses:

  • Introduction to Solace Administration covers operational management of Solace products, including product configuration, monitoring, security administration and integration, backup/restore considerations, and Solace Element Management Protocol commands.
  • Introduction to Solace APIs introduces application developers to topics such as session and connection management, message persistence and delivery models, acknowledgement models, message types, memory management, threading models and development best practices.

“Many clients have asked for more flexibility in how they accelerate their staff’s expertise with our products, ” said Denis King, SVP Global Field Operations, Solace Systems. “These courses give them a convenient and cost-effective alternative to the onsite classroom training we offer today.”
