Today, we’re excited to share an important milestone in our journey: PubSub+ is now Solace Platform.
This change isn’t just about a name—it’s about clarity, evolution, and alignment with the future we’re building.

    Why change?

When we launched PubSub+, it was the industry’s most advanced event broker, built to move data across hybrid architectures in real time. It was (and is) publish/subscribe  plus so much more: request/reply, streaming, multi-protocol, dynamic routing, performance, plus, plus, plus. Over time, we’ve expanded far beyond pub/sub messaging to deliver a full platform for event-driven architecture and even-driven integration: management, governance, visualization, micro-integrations and now, the integration of intelligent agents through Solace Agent Mesh.

Solace Platform better reflects what we offer today—a complete, intelligent foundation for modern integration—and where we’re going: a real-time, event-driven layer that connects everything from legacy apps to AI agents, across clouds, datacenters and the edge.

    Why now?

The world is changing fast. With the rise of agentic AI, we’re seeing the emergence of autonomous systems that continuously collaborate, decide, and act on behalf of humans. These agents require more than just access to data—they need full context with access to real-time data from applications and data stores distributed across your IT landscape.

Traditional integration methods simply don’t offer the performance, volume, or complexity that this new reality requires. Polling and batch jobs are too slow. Point-to-point integrations are too rigid. And centralized hub-and-spoke models can’t scale to support thousands of intelligent, distributed agents.

That’s why real-time, event-driven architecture is becoming not just a competitive advantage, but a necessity.

Solace Platform is built for this new world. It enables:

    • Real-time, event-driven streaming of data across hybrid/multi-cloud, and edge environments
    • Loose coupling and asynchronous communication between applications and services
    • Governance, visibility, and control across the entire event mesh
    • Performance and scale for enterprise deployment
    • Integration and orchestration of AI agents via Solace Agent Mesh

This unified platform remains rooted in the powerful technology our customers know and trust—now with a name that reflects the full scope and ambition of our vision.

    What’s next?

You’ll start seeing the new name applied to our products, website, and docs right away. You may still see ‘PubSub+’ in some places as we work through the updates, and we appreciate your patience as we make this shift.

Stay tuned, because we’ll be announcing some exciting stuff in the coming months as we continue to expand Solace Platform and bring our Integration Reimagined vision to life.

Welcome to Solace Platform. The future of integration lives here.
