Solace Event Broker is available in three form factors: a cloud-managed service, run-anywhere software, and an appliance. All three kinds of brokers are functionally equivalent, can be managed from a single pane of glass, and can be linked linked to form an event mesh.
They’re also fully interoperable so you can meet all of your integration needs in a cost-conscious way by using whatever kind of brokers works best for each use case, taking into consideration its budget, operating environment, security requirements, and staffing.
Cloud
Solace Event Broker is available as a managed service within Solace Cloud, which is a complete event streaming, management, and observability platform that’s available as a service in the cloud. You manage your event brokers while we deploy, upgrade, patch, and operate your service. It’s secure, resilient, and cost-optimized so you can focus on building event-driven applications.
- Centralized Management: Design, deploy, and operate your entire event-driven estate from a single console, creating meshes, rolling out services in any environment, and monitoring health in real time.
- Security & Control: Maintain data sovereignty with control of encryption keys and root certificates, integrate console and brokers with your IAM and monitoring systems, and assign granular user permissions.
- Peace of Mind: Depend on 99.99% uptime, multizone replication, and an industry-leading SLA while our experts handle engineering and upgrades, and provide support as needed.
- Optimize Costs: Mix and match pay-as-you-go and annual plans while Solace-managed orchestration accelerates time-to-value and continually tunes services to cut maintenance spend.

It handles up to 1,000 client connections, 800 GB spool, and 240 million queue messages. Dynamic message routing is available for 100 client connections, but throughput is capped and only one message VPN is supported. Some deployment types aren’t production-qualified.
- Enterprise Edition: Built for large-scale production environments, Enterprise adds disaster recovery, unthrottled performance, and higher capacity across the board. It supports 200,000 client connections, 3 billion queue messages, and a 6 TB spool. Also includes full DMR, five Message VPNs, and is always production-deployable.
