OTTAWA, September 27, 2010 – Solace Systems, the leading provider of middleware appliances, today announced that CNSX Markets Inc. (CNSX Markets) has selected Solace to supply technology to manage the distribution of its high speed data feeds to clients. CNSX Markets operates two venues: Pure Trading and the Canadian National Stock Exchange based on technology from NASDAQ OMX.
“The speed and reliability of market data is critical to our clients’ success, ” said Richard Carleton, VP Corporate Development of CNSX Markets. “By using Solace’s hardware-based middleware solution to distribute market data to clients we’ll improve the robustness, manageability and scalability of our system so we can better meet the latency and service assurance needs of our customers today and over time.”
CNSX Markets selected Solace’s solution based on its ability to improve the company’s infrastructure without client impact or application changes, enabling them to capitalize on the benefits of the new system quickly and with minimal risk.
“We look forward to helping the CNSX Markets capitalize on their unique market model and enhance the value they provide public companies, their investors and investment dealers, ” said Craig Betts, CEO of Solace Systems. “There are few business applications more mission critical than data distribution infrastructure is to an exchange, which is a testament to their confidence in our proven hardware.”
CNSX Markets is actively implementing Solace and expects to be in production in the second half of 2010.
