New executives to lead expansion into new geographies and industries through marketing, business development and legal functions

OTTAWA, Nov. 15, 2017 – Solace, the leading provider of open data movement technology, announced today that it has added three executives to its leadership team: Mychelle Mollot as Chief Marketing Officer, Alex Kilgour as Chief Legal Officer, and Paul Fitzpatrick as Executive Vice President of Business Development.

Mollot joins Solace with over 20 years of experience leading marketing initiatives for companies including SaaS analytics firm Klipfolio and IBM, where as CMO for the Websphere and Business Analytics divisions she launched the Smarter Analytics component of IBM’s Smarter Planet initiative. Mollot was recently named one of the top Canadian women in tech by The Boardlist, and is responsible for all aspects of Solace’s marketing strategy and operations.

Prior to joining Solace, Kilgour was a partner with global law firm Dentons, where he advised technology companies and their investors in corporate finance, governance, M&A and IP licensing. He is recognized in Best Lawyers in Canadaä for technology law. He will lead Solace’s legal and human resources functions, in addition to serving as secretary of the company’s board of directors.

Fitzpatrick has held leadership roles with enterprise software companies including Halogen Software, Cognos and IBM, where he led partner, channel and marketing-oriented growth initiatives. Fitzpatrick now leads Solace’s global partnerships, channels and strategic alliances programs.
