Amazon S3 Meets Real-Time Data with Micro-Integrations
The events flowing across your Solace event mesh contain valuable data about what’s happening across your business right now — orders being placed, employees being updated, transactions being processed, sensors generating readings, and countless other changes occurring across applications and systems.
Now, that event data can flow directly into Amazon S3 as it happens, without building and maintaining another custom data pipeline.

The new Amazon S3 Target Micro-Integration makes it easy to move events from your Solace event mesh into Amazon S3 for data lake, analytics, archival, AI, and other downstream use cases. Instead of creating point-to-point integrations every time another team or system needs access to event data, you can configure a Micro-Integration flow that continuously delivers the events you choose to the appropriate S3 bucket.
Simply point a Micro-Integration flow at a Solace queue, select the Amazon S3 bucket and path where the data should go, and configure how you want the events written. The Micro-Integration handles the rest, batching incoming events into files and delivering them to S3 as the data arrives.
You can write events as JSON Lines, CSV, XML, or Parquet, making it easier to deliver data in the format expected by your data lake, analytics platform, AI environment, or other downstream tools. File names, paths, and batch sizes can also be configured for each flow, giving teams control over how event data is organized once it reaches S3.
Get more value from the events already moving through your business
The biggest advantage is what you don’t have to change.
Applications already publishing events to your Solace event mesh can continue operating exactly as they do today. There’s no need to modify producers or build a new integration into each application just because another destination needs the data.
Instead, the Amazon S3 Target Micro-Integration subscribes to the appropriate queue on the event mesh and independently delivers that data to S3. If another event type needs to be captured tomorrow, you can add another flow without going back and changing the applications producing those events.
That makes it easier to expand how your organization uses real-time data while avoiding an ever-growing collection of brittle, point-to-point pipelines.
What you can do with the Amazon S3 Target Micro-Integration
- Send events directly to Amazon S3. Continuously move selected event data from your Solace event mesh into S3 without developing and operating a custom pipeline.
- Keep existing producers untouched. The Micro-Integration consumes events from a Solace queue, so applications don’t need to know that S3 — or any other downstream destination — has been added.
- Choose the right format for downstream use. Write event data as JSON Lines, CSV, XML, or Parquet to better align with your data lake, analytics, AI, and data-processing tools.
- Control how data lands in S3. Configure the destination bucket and path, file-naming template, and batch size for each flow so data arrives organized for its intended use.
- Add new event flows as requirements change. When a new team, application, or use case needs event data in S3, configure another flow rather than starting another integration development project.
- Deploy with Solace Cloud or self-managed brokers. The Amazon S3 Target Micro Integration works across Solace deployments, giving organizations the same integration approach regardless of where their event broker runs.
From real-time events to the data lake — without another custom pipeline
The Amazon S3 Target Micro-Integration is part of Solace’s growing portfolio of Target-Micro Integrations for cloud storage, databases, and cloud services. Together, they make it easier to connect the events already moving across your business to the systems that need them, without creating tightly coupled integrations between every source and destination.
With Amazon S3 as a target, the same event-driven foundation supporting your operational applications can also continuously feed data lakes, analytics environments, AI initiatives, and other downstream workloads.
Your applications publish once. Solace gets the right events where they need to go — including Amazon S3 — while keeping producers independent from the systems consuming their data.
The result is a simpler way to put real-time event data to work: less custom integration code, fewer point-to-point pipelines to maintain, and an easier path from events happening across the business to the cloud services that need them.
