Real-Time MongoDB Change Data Capture, No Custom Code Required
If your MongoDB collections are sitting behind application logic with no way to react to changes in real time, you already know the problem: the more data piles up in one place, the harder it gets to pull it out and put it to work anywhere else. The new MongoDB CDC micro-integration removes that friction: it captures changes as they happen and publishes them as events to your Solace Event Broker, so every downstream system in your event mesh gets updates the moment they occur — no polling loops, no batch jobs, no bespoke glue code.

Under the hood, the integration is built on the open-source Debezium engine, so it captures inserts, updates, and deletes directly from MongoDB’s change streams and turns them into structured events. Header and payload transformations are supported out of the box, so events can be shaped for downstream consumers without writing custom transformation logic.
You choose how it runs:
- Self-managed, deployed on your own infrastructure with the Micro-Integration Manager for observability, up to 20 configurable workflows per instance, and a free community license.
- Cloud-managed, hosted on the Solace Cloud Platform with UI or REST API control, deployable to public, dedicated, or customer-controlled regions, plus built-in error logging and lifecycle APIs (commercial license, support included).
Either way, you get fine-grained control over what gets streamed — filter out operation types you don’t need, tune checkpointing and batching, and choose your initial snapshot behavior — plus support for standalone, active-standby, or active-active deployment for resilience at scale.
It’s the latest addition to Solace’s growing family of database CDC micro-integrations (alongside PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, DB2, and Oracle), built to break data gravity one database at a time.
