Every enterprise wants to operate based on what’s happening now. They want applications that work with live business data. Agents that respond to events as they happen. Analytics that inform decisions in the moment, not hours or days later.

The technology to make this possible exists, and the ambition is there, but for many organizations the data infrastructure hasn’t kept pace.

Critical information is still trapped in siloed systems, moved through overnight batches, or tied together with point-to-point integrations that become increasingly difficult to maintain. Every new data connection becomes another project, every new application adds complexity, and every AI initiative that depends on outdated information struggles to deliver its full potential.

Today, we’re introducing Solace Fall 2026 Edition: Unbound, a major update to Solace Platform that removes these constraints so enterprises can operate in real time.

Unbound advances our platform across event streaming, stream data processing, agentic AI, and developer experiences. It also brings AI deeper into the platform itself, helping teams build, manage, and scale integrations and intelligent applications faster.

Our goal is straightforward: make it easier for organizations to connect everything, operate in real-time, and turn AI investments into measurable business value.

Breaking Down Barriers Across the Solace Platform

Unbound brings together new capabilities across the platform, each addressing a challenge enterprises face as they modernize their data infrastructure and scale AI.

Enterprises need the freedom to connect and manage their systems without adding unnecessary complexity or cost. They also need simpler ways to build and operate the real-time integrations that power their business.

With this release, we’re introducing several important advancements:

    • Nisshi Diskless Streaming: Solace has acquired the assets of Nisshi, an open-source streaming technology, that is Apache Kafka® API compatible, and uses object storage, to reduce infrastructure costs and simplify operational burden of streaming workloads. Learn more.
    • Studio: A new unified experience for designing, configuring, and managing real-time integrations. Studio brings together the tools teams need to build data pipelines and work with event streams, making it easier to move from idea to production with less complexity. Learn more.
    • Agent Mesh Desktop and Third-Generation Architecture: Agent Mesh Desktop brings development, runtime, tools, CLI, and user interface together in a single application for Mac, Linux, and Windows, so developers can build agents locally and move them toward production. Agent Mesh is now Go-based, with an event-driven architecture that runs agents on shared infrastructure with role-based access control, observability, and sandboxed tools. Learn more.
    • Sovereign Home Cloud: More deployment flexibility, including air-gapped, for organizations with specific data sovereignty, operational control, and regulatory requirements. Learn more.
    • Solace Micro-Integrations: Expanded connectivity and streamlined integration capabilities make it faster and easier to connect enterprise systems, databases, and data platforms, delivering real-time data wherever it’s needed. Learn more.
    • Solace Broker MCP Server : New capabilities that enable AI assistants and agents to interact with Solace brokers using the Model Context Protocol (MCP), simplifying broker operations and access to real-time event infrastructure. Learn more.

Together, these advancements strengthen Solace Platform as a foundation for real-time business. And across every layer of the platform, we’re introducing new capabilities that make it easier to connect systems, move data, build intelligent applications, and operate at scale.

Agentic Processing: Taking AI Agents From Experimentation to Production

There’s no shortage of interest in agentic AI. But getting agents from promising demonstrations into reliable enterprise production remains a significant challenge.

Agents need access to current business context. They need to work across systems. And they need an architecture that supports security, governance, performance, and cost efficiency as deployments grow.

That’s where Solace Agent Mesh comes in.

With Unbound, we’re advancing Agent Mesh in two important ways.

A new desktop version of Solace Agent Mesh makes it easier to get started by bringing the runtime, tools, broker, and user interface together in a single desktop application for Mac, Linux, and Windows. Developers can build and test agents locally, then move validated workflows toward production without starting over.

We’re also introducing a third-generation Agent Mesh architecture, rebuilt in Go around an event-driven, serverless design. This new foundation allows agents to run on shared infrastructure, helping organizations scale more efficiently while strengthening governance through capabilities such as role-based access control, cost observability, and sandboxed tools.

The objective isn’t simply to make it easier to create more agents. It’s to make it practical to operate them as part of the enterprise, with the performance and controls that production environments demand.

Stream Data Processing: Getting Live Data Where It Needs to Go

For too long, connecting operational data to analytics platforms, cloud services, and AI applications has required custom integration projects.

That approach doesn’t scale when businesses need data to move continuously across an expanding ecosystem of applications and platforms.

Our Micro-Integrations address this challenge by simplifying how organizations connect, transform, and stream data between systems.

With Unbound, we’re expanding these capabilities through:

These capabilities help organizations move beyond one-off integration projects toward reusable, continuously operating data flows.

For AI and analytics teams, that means access to fresher information without waiting for another batch process or a custom pipeline to be developed.

For IT teams, it means less integration complexity and more time to focus on delivering business value.

Event Mesh: Greater Flexibility, Control, and Reach

Real-time operations depend on the ability to move information reliably across applications, environments, and organizational boundaries.

That’s the role of an event mesh: enabling systems to publish and consume events without requiring every application to be directly connected to every other application.

With Unbound, we’re expanding the flexibility of our event mesh capabilities.

We’re also extending the mesh’s reach to the Kafka protocol and diskless streaming with the open-source Nisshi Diskless Streaming, which Solace now backs, so more of your real-time data can be part of the same connected estate.

These enhancements give organizations more choice in where they deploy their event infrastructure and how they manage it, without sacrificing the benefits of a connected, governed event mesh.

Democratized Access: Making Real-Time Development Accessible to More People

One of the biggest constraints on enterprise innovation isn’t a lack of ideas. It’s the limited number of people who can turn those ideas into working integrations, pipelines, and applications.

When every new connection requires specialized expertise, even relatively simple projects can get stuck in a backlog.

We believe the next phase of real-time integration must make these capabilities accessible to a much broader group of builders.

That’s why we’re introducing Studio, a unified experience for designing, configuring, and managing real-time integrations.

Studio brings together the tools needed to work with data pipelines and event streams, helping developers and other technical teams move from an idea to a working integration with less complexity.

We’re also expanding how AI assistants can interact with the platform through the Broker MCP Server, providing tools that help users monitor, diagnose, and manage brokers through natural-language interactions.

This represents a meaningful shift in how enterprise platforms are used. Rather than requiring every user to master a specialized interface or API, we’re making it easier for people—and increasingly AI assistants—to work directly with the capabilities they need.

The Future of Enterprise Technology Is Unbound

For years, Solace has championed a world where businesses can respond to events as they happen. With AI accelerating the need for real-time information, that vision has never been more important.

Solace Fall ’26 Edition: Unbound brings that vision closer to reality, removing the barriers between data, applications, and AI so enterprises can innovate faster, act on what’s happening now, and build more intelligent, responsive businesses.

And we’re making it easier to get there. Learn how at Solace Fall ’26 Edition: Unbound
