For our October monthly feature highlight we’ve decided to focus specifically on integrating with PubSub+ Event Portal. Event Portal is a powerful tool that gives the capability to tame chaos and promote governance with your event driven architecture, among many other powerful features. But for organizations that already have plenty of tooling in place, management may be wary of adding another standalone tool to the ecosystem. This training will highlight that PubSub+ Event Portal is not just a standalone tool, but can integrate into an existing system.
Sign up to Solace Academy to get access to our October 2022 Monthly Feature Highlight Training and read on to learn about the features you’ll be learning to implement.
Integrating PubSub+ Event Portal with Slack
The Solace Slack app is designed to help with the Collaborate portion of your development journey. The goal of the Solace Slack app is to enable Slack users to query PubSub+ Event Portal 2.0 resources using the Event Portal REST API within the Slack platform. The Slack app interactions allows users to query and drill down Event Portal resources and unfurl valid URLs, making discussion of your event-driven architecture much easier when the context is available to everyone.
What will I learn in this training?
In the October 2022 Monthly Feature Highlight training you will learn how to set up the Solace Slack app inside your Slack workspace, giving you access to all the PubSub+ Event Portal information in a collaborative way.
Integrating PubSub+ Event Portal with Postman
The Solace-Postman integration is designed to help with the test portion of your development journey. The integration allows you to create a postman collection from any application in PubSub+ Event Portal, which will let you set up (either manually or automatically) testing that can be performed over and over again, knowing that for each application you’ll have the right topics and payload data needed for each event.
